However, the extent and complexity of the various cascade effects remain inadequately understood.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;This work focuses on collecting new evidence on the types and extent of these cascade effects drawing on recent and historical flood disasters in the region, in an effort to improve our understanding of the nature, the extent, the propagation mechanisms and the consequences of these far-rearching repercussions, Additionally, the study examines the interplay between various impacts to provide insights useful for enhancing preparedness and response strategies to mitigate the associated risks.&lt;/p&gt;</style></abstract><section><style face="normal" font="default" size="100%">18-76</style></section></record></records></xml>
