Systematic quantification of asymmetries in Tennis players

This systematic review investigates the different types of asymmetries found in Tennis players. The central scope is to standardize and quantify asymmetries using common asymmetry indexes, in order to compose a clear asymmetry profile for this specific type of highly unilateral sport. At the same time the methodological and statistical strengths and weaknesses of more than 40 research studies focusing on the morphological (anatomical) and / or kinesiological (biomechanical) asymmetries of Tennis players of different ages and levels.
