I teach 19th, 20th, and 21st-century English fiction at undergraduate and postgraduate level.
I'm particularly interested in Victorian literature and culture, early Modernism, and Henry James. My research and publications revolve around the topics of space/place, mobility, and gender in the aforementioned literary periods and author and engage critically with narrative techniques and practices.
I am currently working on my research project "Hotels and the Modern Subject, 1890-1940" funded by the HFRI (2020-2023), a second research project led by Evi Mitsi, “Representations of Modern Greece in Victorian Popular Culture”, also funded by the Hellenic Foundation for Research and Innovation (HFRI), as well as a new monograph on Henry James.
