Angeliki is Assistant Professor at the Department of Digital Arts & Cinema | National and Kapodsitrian University of Athens, Greece.
She is engaged to the exploration of digital culture, in dialogue with new formats of the performative. Her research concerns new media dramaturgy, the poetization of technology, new media archives and the Commons. She is a member of Medea Electronique Art Collective (www.medeaelectronique.com), focusing on curation and dramaturgy. From 2017 to 2019 she was the academic curator of the EU Programme “Ancient Drama: Interdisciplinary and inter-artistic approaches” at the Michael Cacoyannis Foundation in Athens.
As curator and dramaturg she has collaborated with independent artists and art institutions in France and in Greece (French Institute, Documenta 14, National Theatre, Stegi Onassis, Michael Cacoyannis Foundation, Artec, Lab’bel, Mirfestival, etc.).
She holds a PhD thesis on new media and ancient Greek drama (2017, Co-direction: University Sorbonne Nouvelle-Paris III & National and Kapodistrian University of Athens). After graduating from the Media Department of the Kapodistrian and National University of Athens, she pursued an MA in Performing Arts (University Sorbonne Nouvelle-Pars III).
