Elissavet Bossioli is an Assistant Professor at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, Greece, Department of Physics, Section of Environmental Physics-Meteorology. She was born in Athens, Greece. She received her B.Sc. in Physics (1993), her M.Sc. in Environmental Physics (1996), and her PhD in Environmental Physics and Meteorology (2007) from the University of Athens, Greece. She has been a Laboratory teaching personnel in the Physics Department (2014- June 2021) and an Associate researcher on national and EC research projects (21) since 1996. Her research focuses on Atmospheric Physics and Chemistry, Radiation-Cloud-Aerosol interactions, Atmospheric composition, Atmospheric models on-line coupled to chemistry (mesoscale), box photochemical models - Chemical mechanisms. She has  31 publications in international journals (Scopus citations: 435, h-index: 13), 37 publications in conference proceedings and 34 other publications (10 in books, and 24 technical reports). She has received a scholarship from the General Secretariat of Research and Technology and she has been National representative of the COST Action ES0602 “Towards a European Network on Chemical Weather Forecasting and Information Systems” (2008-2011).
