Biography

Current position: Associate Professor of Artificial Intelligence, University of Athens (UoA), Department of History and Philosophy of Science, Greece (since 2009).

Former Director of Laboratory of Cognitive Science (2018-2022)

Previous positions: Institute of Computer and Communication Systems (ICCS-NTUA, 1997-2009), Adjunct professor in AUEB (Athens University of Economics and Business), NTUA (National Technical University of Athens), ASFA (Athens School of Fine Arts) and UoA (University of Athens). Short-term positions: Telemecanique R&D (Nanterre, France), TUM (Munich, Germany), Sorbonne Université (Paris, France).

Education: Electrical and Computer Engineering Degree (National Technical University of Athens, Greece), DEA (M.Sc. equivalent) and Ph.D. in Artificial Intelligence (major: Distributed Artificial Intelligence and Multi-Agent Systems, former Université Pierre et Marie Curie (UPMC, Paris VI), currently Sorbonne-Université, France).
