Prof. Fotis Diakonos is a theoretical physicist working on nonlinear and critical phenomena as a manifestation of complexity in nature with emphasis on the search of phenomenological signatures of the QCD critical point. He is in constant collaboration with the NA61/SHINE experiment at CERN. He is also involved in the study of state transfer in quantum and classical chains exploring the impact of topology in this process.
