Professor Irene Kamberidou represented the Department of Sociology of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (NKUA) at the ICAEB & ICSTM 2025: the 9th International Conference on Applied Economics and Business (ICAEB 2025) and the 9^th International Conference on Sustainable Tourism Management (ICSTM 2025), August 24-26, 2025 in Paris, France. This concurrent event—namely both annual conferences held simultaneously, in the same venue, with an opening ceremony which includes presentations and discussions, followed by parallel sessions—provides a platform and forum for researchers and professionals to share their work and latest findings in sustainable tourism management and in applied economics and business. Prof. Irene Kamberidou, who is a member of the NKUA Gender Equality and Anti-Discrimination Committee, chaired Session V, which focused on "Entrepreneurship, Education, and Gender Dynamics", and she subsequently presented her research on “Women’s Agency and Entrepreneurship in the Digital Age.” [See attachement]
