Overall

I am Assistant Professor of Observational Astrophysics at the University of Athens, leading a research group that is funded by the Hellenic Foundation of Research and Innovation at the National Observatory of Athens. I have previously worked at the Observatory of Paris (France), Commissariat à l'Energie Atomique (France), California Institute of Technology (USA), and Max Planck Institute for Extraterrestrial Physics (Germany). I obtained my PhD from the Ludwig Maximilians University of Munich, and carried out my undergraduate studies at the University of Crete.
