Clinical Experience
- Clinical Fellow and, subsequently, Locum Consultant in PAG at the University College Hospitals, 2006-2014.
- Lead in PAG at the 1st Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Alexandra Hospital from 2009 to date.
- Wide experience in managing all aspects of gynaecological problems in children and adolescents.
- Genital surgery for ambiguous genitalia in adolescents and young women.
- Minimal Access Surgery in adolescents.
- Extensive experience in managing obstetric and gynaecological emergencies, both through my work as second and third on call in major teaching institutions in London from 2003-2008.
- Weekly ‘on site’ on calls, covering obstetrics and gynaecology at Alexandra Hospital from January 2014 to date.
- Consultations for PAG issues in all major Paediatric and Paediatric Surgery Hospitals of Athens.
- Part of the forensic team of the NKUA, for child and adolescent sexual abuse.
- Monthly outpatient clinic at ‘Evangelismos General Hospital’, managing gynaecological late effects in women having undergone Bone Marrow Transplant.
