I am an Associate Professor in the Department of Business Administration at National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. Prior to that, I served as faculty member at the University of Peloponnese, Department of Economics, Visiting Professor at National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, Department of Economics, and Vice President (vice Rector) of the Hellenic Open University.

I have a BSc in Economics from the University of Piraeus, Department of Economics (Greece), an MA in Industrial Relations and Organisational Behaviour, from the University of Warwick (UK), and a Ph.D. (Hons) in Economics and Management of Human Resources and Education.

From 2013-2021 I served as Director of National – International Research at the Hellenic Institute of Economics of Education and Life Long Learning, Research and Innovation. From 2022 I elected board member at the same Institution as well as Head of the Documentation Center.  

I am also a visiting professor – instructor in many undergraduate and postgraduate programmes (University of Piraeus, Harokopio University, etc). My research interests are focused mainly on Human Resource Management, Economics of Human Resources and Education, Technology and new forms of Education, and lifelong learning, e-learning. My academic work has been published in well-known scientific journals as well as UNESCO and the Higher Education Academy of the UK.
