Riginos Michalis

He is associate professor in the Department of Economics at the University of Athens. In 1977 he graduated from the Department of Economics at the Athens University of Economics and Business (AUEB) and he continued his studies in Economic and Social History in the Paris I Pantheon- Sorbonnee University, where he obtained his Ph.D. entitled "Salaires et pouvoir d'achat en Grèce, 1909 - 1936". From 1987 to 1991 he worked as a researcher in the Historical Archive of the National Bank of Greece. Since 1991, he has been teaching Economic and Social History in the Department of Economics at the University of Athens. His current research work refers to the history of the Athens Stock Exchange, 1876- 1967.
