I teach 19th, 20th, and 21st-century English fiction at undergraduate and postgraduate level.
I'm particularly interested in Victorian literature and culture, early Modernism, and Henry James. My research and publications investigate the theoretical and literary dimensions of space/place, mobility, and gender in the literature of the aforementioned periods and engage critically with narrative techniques and practices.
