Risk Change (RC)
Migration is a natural law: everything moves, everybody migrates
Respect the mobility of human life
In the context of the Creative Europe EU ‘Risk Change' (RC) project (www.riskchange.eu), the National and Kapodistrian of Athens (NKUA) RISK CHANGE research team aims at a fruitful interaction between ‘History of Technology’, ‘History of Science’, ‘Science, Technology, Society’ (‘Science and Technology Studies’) and fields like ‘Migration Studies’ and ‘Border Studies’.
The NKUA participation in RISK CHANGE research is focused on historical and STS approaches to the following:
- The role of science and technology in borders/migration-related issues
- The mediation of science and technology in producing the public image of border/migration-related issues
- Artistic depictions of borders/migration-related issues, specializing in issues involving science and technology
- The interaction between scientific and technical creativity, artistic creativity and migration-related experiences
