Λέκτορας στο Τμήμα Τουρκικών Σπουδών και Σύγχρονων Ασιατικών Σπουδών (ΤΣΣΑΣ) του ΕΚΠΑ. Διδάσκει πολιτική και διπλωματική ιστορία της Τουρκίας και ιστορία των Κούρδων, ενώ έχει διδάξει επίσης τουρκική εξωτερική πολιτική με έμφαση στις σχέσεις με τις ΗΠΑ, την Ε.Ε. και την Μ. Ανατολή, καθώς και ελληνοτουρκικές σχέσεις. Στο παρελθόν έχει εργαστεί ως επιστημονικός συνεργάτης στο ελληνικό κοινοβούλιο (2006-2009). Τα ερευνητικά του ενδιαφέροντα περιλαμβάνουν μεταξύ άλλων, θέματα σύγχρονης τουρκικής πολιτικής, διεθνείς σχέσεεις της Τουρκίας καθώς και το Κουρδικό ζήτημα στην Τουρκία και στη Μ. Ανατολή. Διευθύνει το χρηματοδοτούμενο από το ΕΣΠΑ Πρόγραμμα Πρακτικής Άσκησης του Τμήματος ΤΣΣΑΣ.
Έχει πραγματοποιήσει σειρά ανακοινώσεων σε διεθνή συνέδρια, άρθρα του έχουν δημοσιευθεί σε επιστημονικά περιοδικά, σε συλλογικούς τόμους και σε πρακτικά ελληνικών και διεθνών συνεδρίων. Σειρά άρθρων του έχουν δημοσιευτεί σε ελληνικά και διεθνή ηλεκτρονικά και έντυπα μέσα.

Lecturer on Turkey and the Middle East at the Department of Turkish and Modern Asian studies of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (since 2010). Formerly Research Associate at the Hellenic Parliamenτ (2006-2009) and teaching staff at the Dep. of Turkish and Modern Asian studies (2005-2010). His research interests and publications cover Turkish domestic and foreign policy and focus on Turkey’s relations with the United States and the Middle East, and the Kurdish issue.
His publications include articles in international peer-reviewed journals, conference proceedings, edited volumes, book editing and book reviews. He has also published numerous articles and op-eds in greek and international media.
