Bio

Anthony Hatzimoysis is Professor of Contemporary Philosophy, Chair at the History & Philosophy of Science Department at the University of Athens, and a Regular Visiting Professor at Pepperdine University at Malibu, California. He has held academic posts at the University College London (UCL), and visiting posts at Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and École des hautes études en sciences sociales (EHESS). He is co-founder of the European Society for the Study of Emotions, based at Basel, Switzerland. ​His main works include 'Philosophy and the Emotions' (Cambridge University Press), 'Self-Knowledge' (Oxford University Press), 'The Philosophy of Sartre' (Routledge) - and (in Greek) Ο Φόβος (ΜΙΕΤ), Φιλοσοφικά Πορτρέτα (Πόλις), Αιδώς, Αγάπη, Αγωνία (Πατάκης).
