Aris Moustakas holds a BS degree from Caltech (1990, Physics), an MS degree (1992, Physics) and a PhD degree (1996, Theoretical Condensed Matter Physics), the latter two from Harvard University. He worked at Bell Labs, Lucent Technologies, US, between 1998 and 2005, first as a Postdoc, then as a Member of Technical Staff. He then joined the Physics Department of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, first as an Assistant Professor and then as an Associate Professor. He has held a Senior DIGITEO Chair in Paris, France between 2013-2014. He is currently a Lead Researcher at theĀ Archimedes/Athena Research Center in Athens.
