Dr. Elias Sakellis received his Ph.D. degree from the Department of Physics, University of Athens. He is Assistant Professor in the department of Physics in National and Kapodistrian University of Athens and a Research Associate at the Electron Microscopy and Nanomaterials Lab (EMNL) of the Institute of Nanoscience and Nanotechnology (INN) at the National Centre For Scientific Research Demokritos.

Dr. Elias Sakellis received his Ph.D. degree from the Department of Physics, University of Athens. Since then he works as associate researcher at the Department of Physics of the University of Athens and at the Institute of Materials Science of NCSR “Demokritos”. His research interests include the synthesis of nano-structured materials with E-beam PVD, chemical and electrochemical methods as well as the study of their structural, electrical and optical properties with applications in electronics and photonics.
