Yannis El. Doukas holds a PhD in the Political Economy of the Reform of the Common Agricultural Policy from the University of Athens. He received his BA in Economics from the University of Athens, his MA in International Development and Finance from Leicester University and his MSc in International Business Administration from the Athens University of Economics and Business. His teaching experience includes courses on Economics, Agricultural production, Agricultural Economy and Policy and Innovation and Entrepreneurship (National and Kapodistrian University of Athens) Agricultural Economics (Athens University of Economics and Business), International and European Economics (National School of Public Administration), Economics and the European Union (Deree College, Athens). His research experience includes the participation in several projects such as the Evaluation of the EU Commission’s proposals for 2014-2020 Multiannual Financial Framework, implemented by the Hellenic Foundation for European and Foreign Policy (ELIAMEP) , the European project "European governance in key- areas for the recovery of Greece: agriculture, tourism, maritime policy” under the supervision of the European Jean Monnet Centre of Excellence, the ELIAMEP Project “The EU Fiscal Policy- The Budget” which is financed by the Bank of Greece, the Onassis Foundation Project about the impact of the economic crisis in Greece among the rural and urban space and the opportunities that arise from the EU 2014-2020 Multiannual Financial Framework and the University of Athens’s Kapodistrias Research Programme that examined the influence of the European Union’s Enlargement ,towards the CEECs, upon the modulation of the Common Agricultural Policy and the preparation of the comparative study on Agriculture between Greece, the Netherlands and Israel, on behalf of DIKTIO Network for Reform in Greece and Europe, which was presented in "The changing landscape of food & agriculture – Greece", panel of the -Delphi Economic Forum 2018, under the title: "How can Greece achieve food security and increase the value of its agricultural output in a sustainable way?
