In 1998, I entered the Medical School of the University of Athens through nationwide exams and graduated in 2004. Subsequently, I completed my rural service and then served my military duty as a Navy doctor for one year.

In 2009, I completed my studies in the Master's Program "Clinical Pediatrics and Nursing - Research" at the Medical School of the University of Athens. In 2011, I was awarded a Doctorate from the Medical School of the University of Athens.

I specialized in Pediatrics for 4 years at the "P. & A. Kyriakou" Children's Hospital of Athens from 2009 to 2013.

Immediately after completing my specialization, I was accepted in the USA, where I further specialized for 3 years in Pediatric Rheumatology at Washington University in St. Louis (07/2013 – 06/2016). During my specialization, I developed my research interest in the pathogenesis of Juvenile Idiopathic Arthritis. At the same time, I trained in musculoskeletal ultrasound and intra-articular steroid injections guided by ultrasound, graduating from the Ultrasound School of North American Rheumatologists (USSONAR) and receiving certification from the American College of Rheumatology (RhMSUS) in 2016.

Immediately after completing my specialization in the USA, in July 2016, I started working as a Consultant in Pediatric Rheumatology for NHS England at Nottingham University Hospital.

From early 2018, I worked in the private sector as a scientific associate in Pediatric Rheumatology at IASO Children's Hospital and Metropolitan Pediatric Clinic, and as an Academic Fellow in Pediatric Rheumatology for the Third Department of Pediatrics of the Medical School of the University of Athens at the University Hospital "ATTIKON" General.

Since July 2022, I have been an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics at the Medical School of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens in the Third Department of Pediatrics at "ATTIKON" University General Hospital. I maintain a private practice in the city center of Athens.
