In 1998, I entered the Medical School of the University of Athens through nationwide exams and graduated in 2004. Subsequently, I completed my rural service and then served my military duty as a Navy doctor for one year.

In 2009, I completed my studies in the Master's Program "Clinical Pediatrics and Nursing - Research" at the Medical School of the University of Athens. In 2011, I was awarded a Doctorate from the Medical School of the University of Athens.

I specialized in Pediatrics for 4 years at the "P. & A. Kyriakou" Children's Hospital of Athens from 2009 to 2013.

Immediately after completing my specialization, I was accepted in the USA, where I further specialized for 3 years in Pediatric Rheumatology at Washington University in St. Louis (07/2013 – 06/2016). At the same time, I trained in musculoskeletal ultrasound and intra-articular steroid injections guided by ultrasound, graduating from the Ultrasound School of North American Rheumatologists (USSONAR) and receiving certification from the American College of Rheumatology (RhMSUS) in 2016.

Immediately after completing my specialization in the USA, in July 2016, I started working as a Consultant in Pediatric Rheumatology for NHS England at Nottingham University Hospital.
