The first online course offered by the Faculty of English in the form of blended learning with the collaboration of colleagues from the University of Athens, the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and the Hellenic Open University. The aim of this course is to help students develop the ability to critically think and theorize issues on foreign language learning and to be able to put into practice principles of language into practice in the Greek educational context. Adopting multidisciplinary approaches and problematising issues from a cross disciplinary perspective, this modular course deals with language learning by different age groups, bilingualism and intercultural education, differentiated language learning, New learning and Learning-by-Design, and theories of e-learning.
