The course acquaints students with the ways in which various theories of language and language learning have informed approaches to foreign language didactics and have shaped the dominant discourse of ELT.

This course deals with the use of digital technologies and the different ways they can be incorporated in the English classroom. In the first part of the course students are introduced to computer assisted language learning and to the development of digital literacies in the teaching of English.
