Η Άννα Χήτα σπούδασε στο Τμήμα  Γερμανική Φιλολογία - Γερμανική ως δεύτερη/ξένη και η διδακτική της στο Πανεπιστήμιο Αugsburg της Γερμανίας. Για  την απονομή του τίτλου Magister Artium ασχολήθηκε με το θέμα  «Ελληνο-γερμανική διγλωσσία μεταναστών δεύτερης γενιάς στη Γερμανία και τις συνέπεις για το μάθημα της Γερμανική ως ξένης γλώσσας» και στη συνέχεια εκπόνησε το διδακτορικό της με θέμα  «Κριτήρια αξιολόγησης γραπτού λόγου και η εγκυρότητα τους» (2009). Στα ερευνητικά της ενδιαφέροντα ανήκουν η συγκριτική και εφαρμοσμένη  γλωσσολογία,   η διαπολιτισμική επικοινωνία, η πραγματολογία, η μετάφραση και η διαμεσολάβιση και η δημιουργία των τεστ. Από τα πιο σημαντικά ερευνητικά προγράμματα που συμμετείχε ειναι η “δικαστηριακή διερμηνεία”,  η “κοινοτική διερμηνεία” και η “αξιολόγηση εξεταστών”.  Δούλεψε για πολλά χρόνια σε προγράμματα ενσωμάτωσης και γλωσσομάθειας αλλοδαπών  και προσφύγων του Υπουργείου Μετανάστευσης στη Γερμανία. Από το 2003 είναι στην επιστημονική ομάδα του Κρατικού Πιστοποιητικού Γλωσσομάθειας ΚΠΓ. Από το 2010-19 υπήρξε επιστημονική συνεργάτης/πανεπιστημιακή υπότροφος στο Τμήμα Διοίκησης επιχειρήσεων της Ηγουμενίτσας (πρώην εφαρμοσμένων ξένων γλώσσών). Από το Φεβρουάριο 2019 εργάζεται ως επίκουρη καθηγήτρια με γνωστικό αντικείμενο «Εφαρμοσμένη Γλωσσολογία, η διδακτική της Γερμανικής ως Ξένης Γλώσσας» στο Τμήμα Γερμανικής Γλώσσας και Φιλολογίας του Πανεπιστημίου Αθηνών.  Είναι Διευθύντρια του Εργαστηρίου  Πολυμέσων και Γλωσσικών Εφαρμογών του Τμήματος Γερμανικής Γλώσσας και Φιλολογίας του ΕΚΠΑ.   Εργασίες της έχουν παρουσιαστεί και  δημοσιευτεί σε συνέδρια και σε περιοδικά της Ελλάδας και του εξωτερικού.

Anna Chita hat „Deutsche Philologie unter besonderer Berücksichtigung des Deutschen als Fremd- und Zweitprache und deren Didaktik“ an der Universität Augsburg studiert. Ihre Magisterarbeit beschäftigt sich mit dem Thema „Deutsch-Griechisches Code-Switching am Beispiel von Jugendlichen in Augsburg und Folgen für den DaF-Unterricht“. Mit der Dissertationsschrift „Bewertungskriterien schriftlicher Lernerproduktionen B2 und C1 und ihre Validität“ erlangte sie an der Universität Augsburg die Doktorwürde. Zu ihren Themenschwerpunkten gehören: vergleichende und angewandte Linguistik, interkulturelle Kommunikation, Pragmatik, Translation und Sprachmittlung und Testentwicklung. Wichtige Forschungsprogramme, an denen sie mitgewirkt hat sind „Gerichtsdolmetschen“, „Community Interpreting“ und „Prüferevalution“. Sie arbeitete lange im Bereich Integrationskurse für Ausländer und Flüchtlinge des Bundesamtes für Migration (BAMF) bei der DAA in Deutschland. Seit 2003 ist sie wissenschaftliche Mitarbeiterin in der Testentwicklung des staatlichen Sprachzertifikats KPG des griechischen Kultus- und Bildungsministeriums, wo sie auch zuständig für die Prüferschulungen in Westgriechenland zuständig ist. Von 2010-2019 war sie als wissenschaftliche Mitarbeiterin an der Fachhochschule „BWL/Schwerpunkt Angewandte Fremdsprachen in Handel und Verwaltung“ in Igoumenitsa/Griechenland tätig. Seit Februar 2019 ist sie Assistenzprofessorin im Fachbereich für deutsche Sprache und Literatur der Universität Athen mit dem Forschungsschwerpunkt angewandte Linguistik und DaF-Didaktik. Sie leitet das zum Fachbereich gehörende Institut für Multimedia und Sprachanwendungen.  Sie wirkt in nationalen und internationalen Konferenzen mit und veröffentlicht Aufsätze im In- und Ausland.

Anna Chita studied "German Philology: German as Foreign Language/ German as Second Language" at the University of Augsburg. Her Master dissertation was "German-Greek Code-Switching on the example of young people in Augsburg and the Consequences for the German as Foreign Language Teaching". The dissertation subject dealt with the “Evaluation's criteria in writing skills B2 and C1 and their validity" (2009). Her specialist field concerns the German as Foreign Language/ German as Second Language, contrastive and applied Linguistic, and Intercultural communication, pragmatics, translation/mediation and test development. Some important field studies and research programs on which she co-worked were “Legal and community interpreting”, “Community interpreting” and “Evaluation of testers”. She worked for many years in several courses and integration courses for young and adult migrants and refugees in Germany. Since 2003 she is scientific co-operator of the approved testing for foreign languages of the Greek Ministry of Cultural Affairs for the Further Education of the examiners. 2010-2019 she was adjunct lecturer of the Higher Technical Institute “Business Administration” of Igoumenitsa/Greece at the course of studies "Applied foreign languages in Trade and Management". Since February 2019 she is Assistant Professor in Applied Linguistics/Didactics of German as a foreign language at the Faculty of German Language and Literature, National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. She leads the Institute for Multimedia and Language  Applications, which belongs to the Department. She has published papers in national and international journals as well as presented in conferences.
