Digital School, a basic action within the ‘New School’ reform, is essentially an open source platform with web 2.0 tools, which can support a number of applications for a digital classroom. As part of this multi-layered project, the 'media enriched textbooks' represent an innovation for Greek Education. As coordinator for the Aesthetic Education team I have supervised the creation of all art-textbooks for primary and secondary education as well as the completion of meta-data for publishing on 'Photodentro' the National Learning Object Repository (http://photodentro.edu.gr/lor/).
