Media-enriched textbooks

Digital School, a basic action within the ‘New School’ reform, is essentially an open source platform with web 2.0 tools, which can support a number of applications for a digital classroom. As part of this multi-layered project, the 'media enriched textbooks' represent an innovation for Greek Education.

ORCHESTRA - An integrated ICT platform for creating rich interactive cultural experiences

The interactive platform ORCHESTRA uses digital technology and digital content to offer a new type of interactive productions for music and cultural experiences that can adapt to a variety of audiences and needs. It utilizes an array of multimedia digital content in order to support cultural and/or educational goals. Multimedia content, new software, audio systems, gesture-interacting systems, projection systems and a large
number of devises are all ‘orchestrated’ so as to effectively tell a story and offer an immersive experience.

Το πρόγραμμα «Ταχύρρυθμης Επιμόρφωσης Εκπαιδευτικών στην Εξ Αποστάσεως Εκπαίδευση» του Υπουργείου Παιδείας και Θρησκευμάτων υλοποιήθηκε από την κοινοπραξία 8 Φορέων: Πανεπιστήμιο Πειραιώς, Εθνικό και Καποδιστριακό Πανεπιστήμιο Αθηνών, Αριστοτέλειο Πανεπιστήμιο Θεσσαλονίκης, Πανεπιστήμιο Δυτικής Μακεδονίας, Διεθνές Πανεπιστήμιο της Ελλάδος, Πανεπιστήμιο Δυτικής Αττικής, Πανεπιστήμιο Πελοποννήσου, ΙΤΥΕ-Διόφαντος.
