Basic principles and methods for intravascular imaging and assessment of coronary arteries. New techniques and their clinical applications are presented and discussed within the frame of other under- and post-graduate courses. A special focus is given on intravascular ultrasound, optical coherence tomography, fractional flow reserve and thermography.
