Aimilia has obtained her Bachelor’s degree in the field of Biology from the University of Patras and recently received her Ph.D. at the NKUA. With extensive experience in cell culture, cell and molecular biology, cancer biology, and excellent knowledge of high-throughput screenings, her postdoctoral scientific interests focus on the impact of proteome instability on aging and cancer. In the framework of her participation in many national or EU research programs, she has been involved in in vitro and human-cell based bio-evaluation of a wide variety of natural or synthetic products (e.g. crude extracts, microfractions or purified compounds) originating from different sources of the biosphere. She presents an impressive record of publishing in high ranking journals and chapters in international books, while she is very active concerning presentations at national and international conferences.
