Ioanna is currently completing her Master’s degree in ‘Application of Biology in Medicine’ and conducting her Master’s thesis under the supervision of Professor Trougakos, studying the potential antiaging or anticancer effect of natural products. She obtained her Bachelor’s degree in the field of molecular biology and genetics at the Democritus University of Thrace, during which she gained considerable knowledge in molecular and cellular biology techniques, RNA biology and fundamental neurodegenerative disease mechanisms.
