Provision of specialized knowledge to university and technological education graduates on Molecular Biology and Systematic Genetic, Ecology, Physiology and Biochemistry of Microorganisms, Environmental and Clinical Microbiology and Food Microbiology, in order to: a) become familiar with microbiological techniques and molecular methods of handling environmental microbiological samples, b) understand issues related to nutrition, metabolism, growth techniques, mathematical standards and environmental factors influencing the growth of microorganisms, c) come into contact with the complexity of microbial world and the biodiversity concept and d) learn practical methods and applications of microbiology related to everyday life and industry.
