Educational activities in primary education
- 2022: Participation in the actions of the Connect project (https://www.connect-science.net/) supporting scientific actions in school education.
- 2022: Educational Seminar on Environmental Education of D.D.E. 2nd Athens, entitled "Uncovering the secrets of the place, after the fires", Saturday April 9, 2022, in collaboration with the Secondary Education Directorate of 2nd Athens.
- 2022: Lecture on digital cartography and physical geography topics at the Elias school in Crete.
- 2021: Lecture on "The future of cartography in school textbooks", at the scientific conference entitled "Searching for knowledge: School textbooks in the Greek State", organized by the Institute of Educational Policy (IEP), in collaboration with National Library of Greece (EBE).
- 2021: Lecture on "Marine regression in the light of the climate crisis", at the Educational online event entitled "Climate Crisis and Education for Sustainability".
- 2020-today: Supervisor at the Institute of Educational Policy in the field of Physical Sciences, Technology and athematics.
- 2019: Exhibition of students from the Children's Art Workshop Filippas Florakas-Giannis Halkou on 23/12/19 and organization of a tour for students from Naxos at the Museum of Paleontology and Geology.
- 2019: Organization of an intensive educational seminar on "Sustainable development in primary education through the creation of interactive digital stories" in the framework of the Erasmus+ EnvStories program, which took place between 11/11/2019-15/11/2019, in which 30 primary school students from Greece, Cyprus, Turkey, Spain and Italy participated (http://www.envstories.eu).
- 2019: Organization of a competition "I express myself for the Earth and the Environment" with the Teaching Committee of Geosciences, the Committee of Geomorphology & Environment and the Erasmus+ EnvStories program.
- 2019: Participation in the Researcher Night 2019 on 27/09/19 at the Cultural Center "Hellenic World" with the Teaching Committee of Geosciences, the Committee of Geomorphology & Environment, the Hellenic Geological Society and the support of the Erasmus+ EnvStories program.
- 2019: Organization of a conference on "Sustainable Development and Education" within the Erasmus+ EnvStories program, which took place on 18/04/2019 at the Department of Geology and Geoenvironment of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens.
